- Working experience with either Go (min. 1 year)
- Strong understanding of HTTP routing in the Go standard library
- Familiarity with web APIs (REST / GraphQL)
- Good knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
- A problem-solving attitude, i.e. not just focused on writing code, but on tackling complex problems and determining how best to solve them
- Experience with built-in testing in Go
- Willingness to practice TDD and pair programming
- Knowledge of Protocol Buffers, gRPC and Websockets
- Experience with microservices architecture
- At least one year of experience in frontend technologies and willingness to work with React / TypeScript
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline (GitLab), Docker / AWS / Kubernetes and container hosting infrastructure.
- Knowledge of (or interest in learning) modern software system observability stack e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, New Relic
- Communication in English is a must

THE ROLE:
Working as a part of the AudioVisual Tribe development team in Warsaw, the Go Developer will be responsible for implementing the back-end applications together with the team members in other locations. Most of the team daily tasks involve working with Git, Golang, GraphQL and migrating the applications to run cloud-native (AWS). Our projects have extensive documentation on Confluence. We organize our work with Jira.
The role demands someone who has a clear passion for development and creating state of the art solutions, has a sound working knowledge of Go, knows new and current technological trends, designs and development processes.
